Process & Production Engineer within Connectivity Solutions

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality copper and optical fiber interconnect productions, primarily used in high speed and harsh environment applications within the Aeropause, Defence, Space and Industrial Markets. Due to growth of business we are looking for a Graduate Level Engineer or a candidate with proven Engineering experience within this sector. Our client has a broad portfolio of custom interconnect products including, RF connectivity, Mil/Aero connectors, Ethernet Connectivity, high speed industrial interconnects, optical technology, headers and enclosures.
As a Process & Production Engineer your role will be pivotal in the continual improvement from an engineering perspective and using technical skills in key customer areas across the shop floor. Key responsibilities will include;
* Coordinate and lead all CI activity, including layout, workflow, equipment and risk assessment
* Introduce new routing and work instructions along with developing and modifying them as required
* Assist QA with investigations on root cause and non-conformance
* Manage and control CR and PRR document process
* Raising ECR's
* Support 8D investigations and documentation
* Manage production process documentation
* Responsible to introduce documentation and train staff
* Assist with tooling for new products
* Justify and create CAR/Purchase order for approval when necessary

This position offers an immediate start, working for modern offices based in Chelmsford, Essex. Working hours of 8am to 5pm with an early finish of 4.30pm on a friday and pizza once a month
