Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Process Safety Engineer to join top-tier COMAH site in Manchester on a permanent basis.

The Role

• Support the development and maintenance of the safety management system
• Identify and implement plant modifications to improve safety, efficiency or reduce environmental impact.
• Support the introduction of new processes on to the Site, developing training programs to ensure safe operation.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting plant problems as identified by Plant Management
• Lead HAZOP studies for new and existing operations on site
• Maintains contact with HSE and external Health & Safety consultants

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

• Degree level or equivalent in Chemical or Process Engineering
• You will have at least 5 - 10 years\' experience working on a High-hazard chemical, petrochemical, or similar heavy industrial environment.
• Previous experience working on a Upper Tier COMAH site is essential
• Have a strong technical awareness on Process Safety matters
