Job Role: Product Design Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Metalis are currently working with a UK leading manufacturer, who are looking for a Product Design Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties:
Develop product design from specification to launch Prototype new product designs for review Export and modify Bills of Materials for designs Ensure the integrity of the IMS is maintained Manage progress on design projects Maintain design file structuring and part numbering Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, marketing and sales Evaluate the effectiveness of designs and implement changes to improve the product design
Job Requirements:
Mechanical Design Engineer experience Competent in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks Knowledge of industrial processes, techniques and standards
Salary & Shift:
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours)
