The Role

At Metaview, a Product Engineer is a customer-obsessed, product-focused Software Engineer. As one of our first Product Engineers, you’ll lead the design, development, and operations of our products. You’ll work on a small, autonomous team and wear many hats to have meaningful impact. This role is backend-biased: you’ll spend most of your coding cycles on the backend, while occasionally touching other parts of the stack to unblock yourself and maintain high velocity.

We value clean, effective code and a willingness to learn new languages and tools as our product evolves. Our current stack includes:

• Python for backend application code
• Typescript and React for frontend
• Serverless Framework for infrastructure
• Terraform for foundational infrastructure
• AWS for infrastructure

You’ll likely contribute to expanding and refining this tech list as the product grows.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our London office. You must be willing to work in the office at least 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
