About the Role:
We're seeking a full-stack Product Engineer to join an early-stage startup building at the crossroads of AI, audio, and data infrastructure. As one of the first 10 hires, you'll help shape both the technology stack and the engineering culture, working directly with researchers, designers, and product leaders.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys rapid prototyping, thrives in a startup environment, and has the skills to scale solutions to production-level systems.
What You'll Do:
- Build and ship end-to-end product features that directly impact customers.
- Develop scalable pipelines for audio and language data.
- Integrate and test ML/LLM-powered solutions to improve workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to turn new ideas into user-facing tools.
- Keep our stack modern and scalable by adopting best practices in engineering.
- 2-8 years in professional software engineering (startup or high-growth preferred).
- Strong full-stack development background (frontend + backend).
- Hands-on expertise in Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform.
- Proven record of delivering customer-facing features from concept to production.
- Comfortable with data pipelines, APIs, and scalable architectures.
- Excellent programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript plus one backend language (Node.js, Python, or Go).
- Experience deploying ML/AI models in production.
- Background in audio tech, voice interfaces, or digital signal processing.
- Prior tech lead or mentorship experience in a startup setting.
