UKSalary – Up to £55K Plus benefitsStart : ImmediateLocation : Altrincham, Greater Manchester, UK.The RoleTo improve customer feedback and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a Product Support Engineer to help support the Service, Project, Operations and Sales teams by ensuring both external and internal customers are satisfied. The candidate will have the skills, knowledge and experience to work on their own initiative and help drive successful performance of the business with a focus on improving customer expectations and with it overall satisfaction with the Emsys Product.Training of service engineers to the appropriate level.Support service engineers on technical issues both in-field and from the office.Provide a technical resource to Projects, Operations and Service management.The role will also include occasional working on board ships and in shipyards to provide extra support.From time to time the role may involve commercial, technical and other reasonable activities.Remote support will be a key element of this role, providing support to our technicians and customers vessels, sometimes outside of normal working hours and at weekends for SLA customersService Manager absence coverAssist with Product DevelopmentAssist with the development of QHSE and ISO policies, practices and implementation.Required SkillsDegree/HND/HNC or equivalent in an electrical/electronic /instrumentation/marine or associated Engineering disciplineA desirable would be an understanding of the requirements of marine or industrial emissions measurement; the installation works in the offshore and ocean-going marine sectors.2 years’ experience in a similar positionPreparation of installation drawings, schematics, manuals and work instructionsGood communicator, team playerCAD experience is preferrableCompetent with MS Office / MS Project and other industry standard software packagesAble to provide excellent referencesFluent English language, UK Passport and right to work in the UK essentialWork Schedule:Monday to Thursday 08:00 -16:30 Friday 08:00 - 14:30A partial working from home policy will be introduced, subject to personal and business needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
