Precision Components Ltd is a world leader in the manufacture and supply of high-precision compressor rotors, and we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced ProductionEngineer with a good understanding of CNC Turning and Milling.

We are looking for an engineer who is keen to make an impact and would relish the opportunity to streamline production processes.

Primarily you will support our UK base in Rochdale, but also you will apply your expertise on-site at our other two manufacturing centres in the USA and China.

Job Purpose:

To drive the optimisation of production processes and ensure the successful delivery of high-precision components, by utilising expertise in CNC Turning and Milling and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and collaboration across multiple manufacturing centres.

Responsibilities: Write machine programs (in Fanuc/Okuma) and identify tooling requirements. Lead feasibility reviews for new components and determine the best manufacturing method. Create programs using Fusion for CNC Lathes/Milling machines.. Produce CAD stage drawings using Solid Edge. Drive improvements in production processes through proven methodology and the involvement of stakeholders.
