As a Production Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support the introduction of new products, contributing to the overall success of the company.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in driving production efficiency and introducing new products to meet the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Follow all relevant Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental processes
* Perform BoM Maintenance through the ERP system
* Manage concessions end-to-end
* Handle Product Change Management through ECR/N Process
* Create and change drawings using Inventor 3D CAD
* Maintain and calibrate equipment
* Create Product Build Instructions
* Control COSHH and conduct Risk Assessments
* Perform Supplier Quality Investigations using tools like 5 why's or 8D and Vendor Returns
* Support production and processes
* Introduce new products
* Act as a delegate for the Production Engineering Manager in their absence
* Ensure the Production Team has everything needed to complete products and maintain OTD
* Ensure products match quality commitments

* Confident communicator
* Experience with BoM Maintenance through ERP systems (Priority experience is an advantage)
* Drawing creation and changes using Inventor 3D CAD
* Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and NPI (desirable)
