Excellent benefits for an experienced Production Engineer working 37 hours per week 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday. The design of fixtures, sourcing tooling and producing stage drawings, SOPs, training manuals andoperation procedures. Creation of engineering documentation and bills of materials using 3D Solidworks and 2D AutoCAD. Ensure all pre-production activities, including creation of stage drawings, bills and routes, writing of machine programs, identification of tooling requirements, and the design of fixtures, are completed effectively and in a timely manner to support production plans. Participate in feasibility reviews for new parts to evaluate and determine manufacturing methods required and ensure that any exceptions or design changes that will be required prior to quotation and sign off. Drive improvements in production processes using continuous improvement methodology whilst developing methods and processes.
