Production Engineer (Systems & IT Infrastructure Support)

Location: Thatcham Salary: 35k-45k DOE Employment Type: Permanent 37.5 hours per week

This would suit a candidate who is equally at home overseeing production systems and resolving everyday IT challenges. This hybrid role bridges the gap between manufacturing operations and internal IT infrastructure, ideal for an individual who thrives in both technical and support-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure optimal performance and uptime of production-related systems across the facility.

* Provide technical support for infrastructure components, including servers, cloud platforms, and networking equipment.

* Diagnose and resolve issues across production technologies and internal IT setups.

* Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks (e.g., using PowerShell or Bash).

* Manage updates, patching, and system configurations within operational and IT environments.

* Administer Windows-based environments

* Support internal users with hardware, software, connectivity, and device configurations.
