Production Quality Engineer Portsmouth £40-50k Were looking for a Production Quality Engineer to support product and process compliance, working with the company quality management system, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 requirements/documentation. They will be part of the UK quality team and continuously improve operational yield through deployment of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) for assembly and test operations. Youll likely spend 80% of time in production and 20% in the office, so youll need to develop a good rapport with the shop floor production staff. Its estimated that youll conduct 2-3 audits / month and initially the role will be reactive but becoming more proactive. FAIRS/8D investigations will also be part of your remit. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ideally an electronics background ideally although mechanical will be considered Industry experience from either the aerospace/defence or similar highly regulated industry Experience of AS9100, 13485 or possibly 17025 Lean/sigma exposure/knowledge
