If you are passionate about improving production processes and enjoy collaborating with a talented team, this is the opportunity for you!\n\nBenefits & Perks:\n\nCompetitive salary based on experience\n25 days of annual leave plus all statutory bank holidays\nFlexible working hours:Monday to Thursday\n\n08.30-16.55 Or 08.00-16.25\n\nFriday\n\n08.30-16.00 Or 08.00-15.30\n\nOpportunities for professional development and growth\nCollaborative and supportive work environmentResponsibilities:\n\nAs a Production/Design Engineer, you will:\n\nEnhance manufacturing methods for existing products\nCollaborate with manufacturing teams on new product designs\nInvestigate quality issues and implement effective solutions\nDrive 5S initiatives in manufacturing and machine building\nContribute to R&D projects to expand expertise\nDesign tools, fixtures, and machine parts using SolidWorks 3D CAD\nGenerate CNC programmes with SolidCAM software and oversee implementation\nDevelop new tooling solutions and engineering practices\nanalyse and resolve operational production issues\nTrain staff on new methods and processes\nAssist sales and manufacturing with feasibility reviews\nLiaise with customers and distributors on technical queries\nProvide technical support to the sales desk as needed\nCreate costing models for new business opportunitiesEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):\n\nProven experience in CNC programming and design\nProficiency in SolidWorks and SolidCAM software\nStrong problem-solving skills and initiative\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written\nAbility to work collaboratively within a team and independentlyDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):\n\nExperience in honing technologies or related fields\nFamiliarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles\nBackground in tooling development and production improvementTechnologies:\n\nSolidWorks 3D CAD\nSolidCAM software\nCNC programming and machining How to apply:\n\nReady to take your engineering career to the next level?
