Project Controls Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Project Controls Engineer, the position will either be a contracting role or a Staff position dependant on your preference. This would be a long term contracting role that could be worked Outside of IR35. The client operates a 4 day working week with a hybrid pattern that is dependant on the needs of the project with the offices being located in the Preston area.

As the Project Controls Engineer you will be responsible for work breakdown structures and cost breakdown structures in relation to the project scope, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining details cost and resource loaded P6 project schedules as well as managing and developing live schedules and baselines throughout the project lifecycle.

Our client is looking for candidates that are trained on Primavera and have training in NEC3 contracts as well as having substantial project controls experience. The client would also be looking for candidates that have an understanding, application and compliance with NEC programme acceptance and criteria and DCMA 14 point assessments.

This role will require candidates that have the ability to gain SC clearance if they do not hold it already and the right to work within the UK must already be established.
