The Role As a Project Controls Engineer , you’ll support the successful delivery of large-scale capital projects across sectors like rail, defence, energy, and utilities. Working within experienced project teams, you’ll contribute to planning, scheduling, performance monitoring, and reporting — building the core skills that will define your career in project controls.
Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and updating integrated project schedules (Primavera P6 or similar) Support cost tracking, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM) activities Help analyse project data to provide insights and recommendations Contribute to risk analysis, change control, and progress reporting Collaborate with planners, cost engineers, and project managers Develop your skills across planning, cost, risk, and performance disciplines
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for ambitious, motivated professionals who are ready to build their project controls career.
You’ll bring: A degree in engineering, project management, construction, or related field Some experience (1–3 years) in a project controls, planning, or project support role Working knowledge of scheduling or cost tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel) A genuine interest in infrastructure projects and data-driven project delivery Strong analytical and communication skills A willingness to learn and grow within multidisciplinary teams
