Responsibilities
liaising with technical stakeholders as appropriate to support the following requirements: Designing characterisation and testing plans and experiments Writing technical specifications for the procurement of structural materials and related development projects using in-house or external capabilities; working with procurement partners for market route identification and progression for technical projects Analyzing scientific data to extract engineering properties, assess degradation mechanisms and characterise material evolution
Specific Qualifications and Experience
of a Project Engineer - Materials science or engineering degree Experience working in highly regulated materials science or engineering role Experience in materials specification development and procurement Experience in materials and damage characterisation, Experience in and broad understanding of both metallic and non-metallic materials and associated applications
