An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Engineer to join a high-profile defence project. You will be contributing to the development of innovative solutions for some of the UK’s leading defence platforms. This is a long-term programme with complex technical challenges and a strong team-focused environment.

This role suits individuals with a strong background in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, especially those familiar with PLC programming, SCADA systems, or Distributed Control Systems (DCS). You will be working across the full lifecycle, from design and implementation through to integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop high-quality, reliable products in line with industry standards for mission-critical defence applications. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions within tightly controlled project environments. Translate complex requirements into engineering designs, implement and rigorously test to ensure functionality and security. Manage integration, configuration, release, and deployment activities in accordance with project and industry regulations. Lead and participate in assurance and review activities to maintain project compliance and software quality.
