This office is located along the developing Route 129 corridor in Chelmsford.Job responsibilities:Have a primary role in an integrated, multi-discipline team that solves technical challenges on projects of significant scope, size and difficultyComplete assignments accurately and on time with limited direction from the Project ManagerDevelop an understanding of project budget, scope of services, project development, project schedule and provide updates and recommendations to the Project Manager in maintaining schedule and budgetUnderstand the client's organization, key people, and client expectationsShare best practices to improve performance and efficiency of self and teamDevelop person-hour estimates and budgets with guidance from senior staffLead small team for moderately complex projectsAssist in proposal efforts and developmentProvide coaching, mentoring and feedback to develop entry-level and staff engineers, peers and others as neededConduct site visits and participate in or lead meetings with clients/contractorsDemonstrate strong technical writing and presentation skills for deliverables, proposals, and presentation in a public setting (for clients or at seminars/conferences)Requirements:Qualified Candidates:BSCE Degree required, MSCE5 - 10 years of relevant experienceCurrent PE in NH, MA, ME, or VTExperience with MaineDOT, NHDOT, VTrans or MassDOT highway projectsProficient in Microstation, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Civil 3D, ArcView, In Roads, WORD, Excel, and MS ProjectSalary is contingent on experienceHoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
