Job: Project Engineer

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Must have own transport due to location of site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage design projects from initial concept/enquiry through detailed design to manufacturing handover.

• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure budgets and time constraints are adhered to.

• Lead and co-ordinate engineering activities amongst allocated engineering resource.

• Produce and release engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.

• Preparation of operating and maintenance manuals.

• Provide offsite engineering support for new products.

• Assist sales and marketing in the preparation of quotes and proposals. Provide customer support.

• Provide technical support to the production, logistics and integration departments.

• Work within the requirements of company procedures and and international regulations.

• Instruct, train and mentor less senior personnel.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years previous experience in an engineering design environment.

• Technical drawing competence.

• Technical leadership and motivational skills.

• Software skills. Conversant with AutoCAD/DraftSight and SolidWorks (mechanical biased), or Altium and AutoCAD/DraftSight (electrical biased)
