Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of material handling, automation & robotics equipment, seeking an experienced Project Engineer. With a competitive basic salary and overall package, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Projects Engineer within automation/robotics experience interested in joining a global organization who are at the forefront of warehouse technology.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAssisting the sales team during the offer phase, reviewing the proposal with the customer and validating the budget costs\nUsing AutoCAD to develop concepts for customer specific to their individual automated logistic requirements \nMentoring customers on the technical components of their AGVs, AMRs and other automated solutions\nAttending customer sites across the UK to support the project/sales teams with client visits\nProviding technical support to the in-house engineering team\nAdhering to all health and safety protocol within the project proposalsRequirements\n\nThe company have a preference for an individual with a project engineering or mechanical design experience within Intralogistics. This isn’t essential however, they would also consider candidates with backgrounds in automation/robotics working in other industries.
It is essential for the requirements of the role that you have extensive experience of layout design using AutoCAD. You will be an individual who is capable of working autonomously as the role will be home based and requires travel.
