You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects. By joining us, you will contribute to meaningful outcomes in the UK water sector, working with major water companies and communities.If you are ready to contribute your skills and expertise to a dynamic and innovative environment, you are invited to join us on this journey.Your ResponsibilitiesManage a project team to deliver work to clients.Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues within your project team and beyond.Present ideas and solutions clearly to senior colleagues and provide advice to less experienced colleagues.Meet all responsibilities as outlined in the RPS HSE policy and management systems.Participate in and/or lead training and safety initiatives implemented by RPS.Deliver multiple water quality projects for specific client projects in accordance with project objectives and Client Standards and Specifications.Take responsibility for the delivery of large projects and programmes of work, including feasibility studies, scoping surveys, scheduling, planning and reviewing intervention designs and delivery, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and handling changes agreed with the client.Skills, Knowledge, And ExperienceSignificant engineering experience in a consultancy, water company or regulator.Good understanding of the water industry, regulatory frameworks, and water networks.Ability to apply current engineering practice and stay up-to-date with engineering best practice across broad and specialised areas.Experience in resource utilisation management related to project delivery.Pragmatic approach to enhancing the services delivered.Record of delivering programmes to time, cost and quality, managing change control, risk and opportunities.Preferred experience in discipline-specific network applications.Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets, including time series data.Experience with GIS software (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).QualificationsPreferably degree qualified in a relevant technical subject.
