Mechanical Project Engineer – Midlands – £55k–£60k + Car/Allowance + Benefits


My client is building a brand-new engineering team for AMP 8 – and this is your chance to be right at the heart of it.


This role is all about delivering exciting, high-value projects for one of the UK’s largest water frameworks, with schemes ranging from £250k to £8M. You’ll have the opportunity to shape processes, influence delivery, and work on projects that make a real difference to communities.

What you’ll be doing:


  • Overseeing a varied portfolio of mechanical engineering projects across the Midlands.
  • Managing budgets, timelines, and resources to keep projects on track.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Working closely with the design team to develop safe, practical, and maintainable solutions.
  • Ensuring the highest health & safety and quality standards are met.


What you’ll need:

  • Experience in the water industry (highly desirable).
  • HNC/HND or degree in engineering.
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety.
  • Mechanical engineering background.
  • Full UK driving licence.
