Part of a major international group, this manufacturing organisation is investing in it midland factory and is seeking an additional Project Engineer to plan and oversee the design and commissioning of some significant capital equipment projects. Project Engineer – CapEx Salary: c£50000 + benefits Location: West Midlands ( commutable from Telford, Kidderminster, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge areas) As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of several capital projects to improve productivity or safety throughout the factory. Duties: o Lead the management of designated projects, delivering agreed objectives including revenue, timing and deliverables, taking a project from conception to completion and escalate issues as they arise o Support initial feasibility reviews, validation of quotations and development of project budgets and timing for plant based activities. o Involved in the initial specification of project related equipment (e.g. extraction/ filtrations systems, material handling, cranes, factory layouts, M&E, CDM, civils ) o Achieving programme deliverables project cost and timing progress reporting (internal & external) o Follow the business process to realise programme delivery and identify areas of im...
