Project Engineer - Scientific Instrumentation / R&D / Physics - Oxford - Up to £40k I’m currently partnered with an innovative engineering business that designs and develops cutting-edge systems used by the global research community. They’re looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in physics and engineering design who enjoys working on complex R&D projects and managing technical success from start to finish. What you’ll be doing: Taking ownership of engineering projects from concept through to delivery Providing technical input on R&D projects , coordinating with cross-functional teams Supporting the design of Scientific Instrumentation and carrying out drawing checks Delivering excellent customer communication and understanding technical requirements Assisting with technical specifications for tenders and sales bids Occasionally supporting with testing, wiring, and installation of scientific instruments (worldwide travel opportunities) Using and improving processes to enhance product performance and efficiency What you’ll need: Degree in Physics (minimum requirement) Previous design experience in an R&D environment Hands-on experience with cryogenic/scientific equipment or system design Strong project planning and coordination skills Why apply?
