Mechanical Project Engineer – Midlands – £55k–£60k Car/Allowance Benefits My client is building a brand-new engineering team for AMP 8 – and this is your chance to be right at the heart of it. This role is all about delivering exciting, high-value projects for one of the UK’s largest water frameworks, with schemes ranging from £250k to £8M . You’ll have the opportunity to shape processes, influence delivery, and work on projects that make a real difference to communities. What you’ll be doing: Overseeing a varied portfolio of mechanical engineering projects across the Midlands. Managing budgets, timelines, and resources to keep projects on track. Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Working closely with the design team to develop safe, practical, and maintainable solutions. Ensuring the highest health & safety and quality standards are met. What you’ll need: Experience in the water industry (highly desirable). HNC/HND or degree in engineering. Strong understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety. Mechanical engineering background. Full UK driving licence.
