Summary

The Project Engineer has responsibility to assist Project Managers in completing projects within budget and schedule and of the quality outlined in the construction documents.

Essential Functions

Assist in pricing, submitting, recording and tracking of all Owner and Subcontractor Change Order Requests. Record and incorporate all supplementary sketches to the contract drawings. Compile the Operations and Maintenance Manuals at the end of projects in accordance with the project documents. Maintain Logs for distribution at Progress Meetings Attend Project Manager Meetings Assist Project Manager in reviewing Subcontractor and Owner Progress Billings. Assist the Project Manager in CPM scheduling.

Competencies

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Sage Timberline Project Management Software Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently, follow through on assignment with minimal direction and set priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and to perform under deadlines with frequent interruptions.
