Project Engineer Staffpower Group are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-known manufacturing company based in Kirkbymoorside. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to take responsibility for the full lifecycle of engineering projects
from initial concept through to production handover. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead innovative projects, guide engineering teams, and make a real impact in a forward-thinking organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead design projects from enquiry stage through detailed design to manufacturing handover. Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coordination for engineering teams. Produce and release designs, specifications, and supporting documentation. Support production, logistics, and integration teams with technical expertise. Contribute technical input for sales, proposals, and customer support. Provide off-site support during new product launches. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Engineering or related field Chartered Engineer status desirable. Minimum 6 years experience in an engineering design environment. Hands-on manufacturing/shop floor experience. Benefits Competitive salary 37-hour working week with flexi-time available. 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays.
