Our client, a leading business in the Offshore /Subsea industry are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis at their site in Newcastle.

The successful candidate will be required to work in conjunction with the engineering team manage all technical elements of projects to deliver products from concept/ enquiry through to delivery.

Candidates will ideally be qualified in an Engineering discipline with a demonstrable background working within a similar role with exposure to Oil and Gas/ Subsea components.

You will also have excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) as you will be dealing with all stakeholders in the business and also end user clients to interpret specifications and understand requirements.

This role is available for an immediate start.

Hours

37.5 hours per week – Flexible start/Finish times.

Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)

* Client support and project management, including site visits for meetings and build support

* Assisting with equipment assembly, procurement, and manufacturing processes

* Coordinating with suppliers, managing deliveries, and maintaining quality standards

* Supporting HSE management in our workshop

* Preparing technical documentation, from specifications to manuals and risk assessments

* Managing logistics such as goods in/out, shipments, and exports

* Check drawings, procedures and calculations produced by team members for accuracy, tolerances and presentation.

* Evaluate, organise and prioritise work within each overall project schedule.

Skills/ Qualifications:

* Qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline

* Demonstrable background working within a projects orientated role.

* Experience working on Oil and Gas/ Subsea Projects

* Ability to multitask and bring projects together on time,

* Experience in managing technical documentation (Drawings/ Material Certs/ manufacturing documentation)
