Main purpose of the role

We are recruiting a Project Engineer for the Northern region of the UK. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing projects to ensure the installation and commissioning of our electrical and healthcare products into our customer environments. This is a technical project management role that requires knowledge of electrical systems and a desire to develop a detailed knowledge of our products and how they meet our customers\' needs.

Key responsibilities

  • To ensure the smooth and accurate installation of equipment into our accounts and all post-project documentation is completed
  • Regular communication with both the internal and external sales team to ensure all technical aspects are captured across all schemes
  • Attending site meetings as required to represent Bender UK before, during and post project completion
  • Evaluating, organising and prioritising work within the project schedule
  • Supporting the Bender UK Sales Team with technical advice and information by email, telephone or in person if a site visit is required
  • Regular communication with the Head Office in Germany, first and second level support will be requirements
  • In addition, constant technical communication with all parties in the Bender supply chain to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard
  • Understanding of the company CRM system
  • Using the company CRM system to deliver projects to BUK stand
  • Producing technical drawings and information critical to the smooth running of BUK projects
  • Producing RAMS essential to the site work for BUK

Experience & qualifications

  • Recognised Electrical apprenticeship
  • NVQ3, ONC or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of medical clinical equipment or industrial sector would be advantageous
  • Experience of using AutoCAD drawing packages would be advantageous
  • Experience in working with Design and/or Quality teams would be advantageous
