One week you'll be pulling layouts together, checking drawings and coordinating the next installation. The next, you'll be on site making sure everything runs to plan, solving problems, and keeping customers in the loop. Work with people who've been doing this for years, and they'll show you how to deliver complex engineering projects properly. If you can read mechanical and electrical drawings, are comfortable with 2D or 3D design tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and have a head for planning and problem solving, you'll fit straight in.
