Project Engineer - NEC Contract Experience | Hybrid (Whiteley) | Rail Sector Preferred

We are working with a leading infrastructure and signalling client to recruit an experienced Project Engineer with strong NEC contract knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering high-impact engineering projects across the rail sector.

Location: Hybrid working with regular travel to Whiteley Contract Type: Long-term contract Sector: Infrastructure / Rail (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead full lifecycle delivery of engineering projects under NEC3/NEC4 contracts. Manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholder relationships. Oversee contractual processes including early warnings, compensation events, and programme updates. Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of designs and documentation. Maintain project plans using MS Project, Teamcenter, and CDE platforms. Ensure compliance with health & safety, technical standards, and NEC obligations.Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience managing projects under NEC contracts. Background in infrastructure; rail experience highly desirable. Strong communication and leadership skills. Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Teamcenter). Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.Why Apply?
