Project Engineer/CRE Civil Engineers\n\nLocation: North-West/Yorkshire\n\nContract: Long term contract\n\nRate: £neg day rate\n\nIR35 Determination: Inside\n\nOur major rail client is looking for experienced Civil Engineers (CRE’s)for long term contract opportunities covering the North-West/Yorkshire area\n\nIdeally candidates will have a proven record in delivering Lineside Civils assets\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Lead the civil engineering delivery on rail infrastructure projects, including track works, station upgrades, maintenance, troughing ducting, buried direct routes, walkways, crossings and more.\n\n * Oversee site activities, coordinating with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.\n\n * Act as the Civils CRE (Contractor Responsible Engineer), ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.\n\n * Develop and manage / assist with project plans, budgets, and schedules.\n\n * Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.\n\n * Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.\n\n * Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.\n\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\nPrevious experience in a similar Project Engineer or Civils CRE role within the rail industry.\nStrong knowledge of rail infrastructure, construction methodologies, and relevant legislation.\nAbility to lead teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and resolve project issues efficiently.\n\nIf you're interested in this role and would like a full job description with a confidential chat contact Marcus at s t e p h e n . d u c k e r or on (phone number removed)
