The Role

An expanding consultancy is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join its growing team. This position provides the chance to take responsibility for structural projects, develop technical expertise, and progress towards chartership in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver design and analysis for a wide range of structural projects
  • Manage resources and contribute to project planning
  • Apply knowledge of CDM regulations, standards, and best practice
  • Produce accurate reports and calculations
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Support and mentor junior team members as appropriate
  • Develop technical and commercial skills while progressing towards chartership

What You ll Need

  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience
  • MEng, BEng, BSc, HNC, or HND in Engineering (chartered or working towards with IStructE or ICE)
  • Experience with Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, AutoCAD, and ideally REVIT
  • Strong skills in MS Office and analysis software
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and technical standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to represent the consultancy at meetings
  • Self-motivated with good time management to meet project deadlines
