Project Technical Engineer – London

CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a technical consultancy, working on significant infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly competent Project Technical Engineer with experience in Electrical systems, to join them at their office London.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysing bids and proposals, and determining the equipment requirements and configurations; producing installation estimates and documentation for electrical works
• Agreeing scope of work, site access, enabling works, and commissioning plans in coordination with the client
• Coordinating with the project management team to ensure budget and schedule estimates are met
• Reading, interpreting and translating engineering drawings into actionable plans
• Closing off the project with handover documents in conjunction with the installation team
• Ensuring all works comply with health and safety regulations

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Wiring/Installations and Electrical Inspections
• At least 10 years’ experience in electrical installation project delivery, implementation, and commissioning
• Excellent technical knowledge of IT network devices, such as routers, switches, ethernet, and fibre communications
• Strong understanding of structural data cabling
• Familiarity with Network Rail and London Underground standards & regulations
• Highly skilled in MS Office
• The right to live and work in the UK
