Duties And Responsibilities
The Projects Control Engineer (GDi) is essential in supporting our offshore Operations Team by ensuring robust project planning, scheduling, and cost management.
Functions
Develop and maintain project schedules in line with company and client requirements. Monitor and report progress against baseline plans, highlighting risks and variances. Track and forecast project costs, commitments, and expenditures. Prepare regular reports for both internal management and client distribution. Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and to support delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and cost control processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Reporting Relationship
Reports to Senior Manager, Operations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
Relevant experience in:
project planning cost control
Solid understanding of cost management principles. Strong Excel and reporting skills.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Proficient in planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project. Excellent communication and organizational and problem-solving abilities. Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders. Motivated team player with attention to detail and commitment to delivery.
