You will be responsible for managing these inquiries and ensuring successful outcomes for the markets and geographical segments assigned to the department. Acting as a representative for internal stakeholders, your role will involve supporting the sales team and meeting targets while maintaining a positive image for the company.ResponsibilitiesEffectively identifying and assessing the requirements of incoming enquiries within the remit of the role and ensuring appropriate action and feedback is given.Collating and evaluating the resource, material, third-party content, engineering, and production cost of tenders, ensuring appropriate approval and sign off has been obtained.Coordinating multiple business functions in both the UK and overseas to ensure deadlines are met, whilst ensuring an accurate, coherent proposal is submitted to the customer.Participating with Sales in discussions with the client.Minimising Company’s exposure to liabilities.Actively contributing towards continuous business and process improvement.Managing operational aspects of a technical and commercial tender, preparing documentation for handover to the projects team.Assisting other members of the department with their workload during periods of holiday, sickness or heavy overload.Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice.QualificationsHave a HNC in Business Management, Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringHave ability to demonstrate and / or show willingness to develop themselves as appropriate to the job roleHave excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalBe highly computer literate with the ability to maintain accurate recordsHave good organisational skills and smart working methods.
