Sales Proposals Engineer: Subsea / Deck Equipment

Remote with monthly travel to Aberdeen GBP40,000-GBP45,000 + Pension + Private Healthcare

We are working with a leading engineering business in the subsea sector that is looking to hire a Sales Proposals Engineer to support their growing commercial team. This role has been planned for some time, and due to recent team changes, the timing is right to bring in someone experienced in the industry who can start immediately.

What You'll Be Working On

You will support the entire sales proposal process, including understanding technical specifications and client requirements, pricing, documentation, and internal handovers. The role will focus heavily on proposals and sales activities.

You will report to the Commercial Manager, with a dotted line to the sales managers.

Who We're Looking For

Industry knowledge is essential: whether from an engineering or sales background, you need to understand the equipment.
Experience working with LARS, ROV systems, hydraulics, or subsea pipeline repair tooling.
A few years of experience in sales, proposals, or technical engineering roles. We are not looking for a senior hire, but someone solid and capable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with support.

Location and Flexibility

Fully remote is acceptable, with monthly travel to the office for team meetings.
Open to candidates across the UK, especially those with prior subsea or offshore experience.

Salary: GBP40,000-GBP45,000, depending on experience
