Role/Job Title: PSA Engineer - DTS Work Location: Edinburgh / Remote The Role Your Responsibilities: Requirement gathering, Epics, and User stories. Administer and optimize the Energy Management System (EMS) through application configuration, tuning, and security patching, preferably on GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS Platform Software , as well as EMS platforms from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider , etc. Simulated RTU, Simulated IED, Console. ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, Data Modeling, XML/JSON. Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating environments. Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server . Over 5 years of experience in power system applications, including Power Flow, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, Load Frequency Control (AGC), Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) with expertise in model validation and event creation. Experience in programming languages for system integration or scripting such as C, C++, PERL , or similar, along with SQL & Shell scripting and ability to read, interpret logs, and debug files.
