About the Opportunity - PSA Nuclear Safety Case Engineer (Multiple Locations)

Are you ready to make a real impact in the nuclear industry? Our Safety Case Engineers work on pioneering projects across civil nuclear and defence sectors, in the UK and globally. From next-generation systems and emerging reactor technologies like SMRs to maintaining existing nuclear facilities, we cover the full nuclear lifecycle.

The role involves designing and maintaining nuclear safety models, analyzing data, supporting decision-making, and producing technical reports. We seek professionals experienced in:

• Fault and event tree analysis
• Quantified risk and reliability assessments
• Reliability data assessment
• Hazard identification, seismic, fire, and flood assessments
• Statistical risk modeling
• System dependency analysis

We also support those transitioning into this field with training and mentoring. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting safety demonstrations and regulatory compliance
• Engaging with clients and stakeholders
• Representing the company in technical meetings
• Mentoring junior team members

Qualifications include a STEM degree or equivalent, project experience, strong communication skills, and professional registration or progress towards it.
