JOB TITLE: Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

SALARY: £81,999- £91,110 in London, or £70,929 - £78,810 outside of London

LOCATION(S): London, Halifax, Leeds, Manchester or Edinburgh

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our locations noted above.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our amazing Containers Lab within Public Cloud Platform.

Your role as an Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for delivering, maintaining, and securing infrastructure resources that host colleague and customer facing services. This will be on our Public Cloud Infrastructure.

You will work collaboratively with the Engineering & Product Owner Leads, in building, and executing our road maps, whilst participating in the planning, and delivery of our goals, driving prioritisation, escalate impediments, acting on learnings and demonstrate successes. You will be encouraged to participate in technical communities both internally and externally to advance shared capabilities and to be a role model and mentor early career engineers to advance their technical skills.

What you’ll need

Currently recruiting Infrastructure Engineers for our platform. We would expect as a minimum for you to have a good understanding of:

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • DevOps / Continuous Deployment CICD

Additionally, seeking individuals with expertise in

Containers

  • Experience in deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters using IaC
  • Familiarity with deploying Kubernetes add-ons through IaC, such as service meshes, role-based access control (RBAC) managers, and certificate managers.
  • Ability to deliver Kubernetes features like event-driven autoscaling and network overlays
