Pump Service Engineer

to join their team, specialising in the maintenance and servicing of Sprinkler Fire Pumps. This is a key role for an experienced engineer who is confident working with mechanical systems, including diesel engines and rotating equipment, and who can deliver high-quality service in line with fire safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients across various sites. Key Responsibilities –Pump Service Engineer Carry out pre-planned maintenance works to Sprinkler Fire Pumps to relevant standards. Understand fire panels, and sprinkler systems including pumps and diesel engines. Be able to assist other engineers in carrying out repairs and fault find on fire sprinkler pumps. Be able to carry out repairs to rotating equipment to a high standard. Complete electronic job reports on each inspection/breakdown. Qualifications & Requirements –Pump Service Engineer Working knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Pumps is essential Experience of working with diesel engines. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds – Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance related field would be desirable but not essential. Full driving licence DBS check Flexible approach to working hours and location Ability to work unsupervised or in a team Professional, pleasant attitude and smart in appearance, capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships.
