Contract Backend Developer - Python/Go - SC Cleared - Remote - 6 Months
Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35) Location: Remote/Hybrid (UK-based only) - 1-2 days per month in London Clearance: Active SC Clearance required Duration: 6 months (possible extension) A leading consultancy is seeking a Backend Developer with strong experience in Python and Go for a secure infrastructure automation project. Key Skills: Python & Go backend development (APIs, microservices, automation tools) AWS SDKs (boto3, aws-sdk-go-v2) - EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch LDAP, HashiCorp Vault, JIRA/Confluence, Kubernetes integration CI/CD pipelines, Git, testing frameworks (pytest, unittest, testify, gomock) Code quality tools: flake8, black, mypy, golangci-lint
Requirements: Proven experience in backend development and cloud automation Strong integration skills with enterprise tools and services Must hold active SC Clearance
