Key Requirements: 3+ years of experience in manual software QA testing Strong understanding of QA methodologies and defect tracking systems. Experience testing web applications, APIs, and backend services including using services like Postman. Excellent analytical skills with a very keen eye for detail. Comfortable working in an Agile development environment. Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Eligible to work in the UK and available to work on-site from our facility in Royal Arsenal, Woolwich (London). Nice to have: Experience with hardware-integrated software or IoT devices. We’re looking for a detail-oriented
QA Engineer
to join our London-based team, focusing primarily on
manual testing of our software systems . While our solutions include physical hardware, this role is centered on validating the performance, reliability, and usability of the software that powers our vending and retail platforms. You’ll play a key role in identifying issues, preventing regressions, and ensuring a seamless experience for end users across our range of smart retail products. Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed manual test plans for our software platforms (frontend and backend). Perform exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing across web-based and embedded systems. Document, triage, and track issues using tools like JIRA, working closely with developers to resolve bugs. Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage. Validate software updates and deployments in real-world device environments. Contribute to improving our QA processes, documentation, and internal tools. Occasionally assist with basic testing on physical devices as part of end-to-end feature validation.
