Pharos has partnered with a global investment firm to recruit a QA Engineer for their London-based Website Engineering Team.

This is a permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary depending on experience, and plays a key role in supporting a growing portfolio of digital products across the UK and Europe. You’ll work as part of a collaborative product and engineering team, helping to shape and implement quality assurance practices across both marketing and transactional websites. The role involves designing and executing both manual and automated tests, refining release processes, and ensuring consistently high-quality user experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead quality assurance across several customer-facing websites
• Create and manage automated testing frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Conduct in-depth manual testing and user flow validation
• Embed testing within CI/CD environments using GitHub Actions or Bitbucket
• Check for responsiveness, browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG)

What You’ll Bring:

• A minimum of five years’ experience in web-focused QA or testing roles
• Strong ability in both manual and automated testing techniques
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based applications, especially those using frameworks like React or Next.js
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, developer tools, and Agile processes
• Desirable: experience with headless CMS platforms, cloud hosting (Azure, Cloudflare), or relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB)
