Responsibilities

  • Manual AI Regression and Ticket Testing
  • Managing bugs throughout their life cycles
  • Keeping other teams up to date with pending, ongoing or completed testing
  • Learning and implementing AI Testing best practises
  • Communicating and collaborating with a variety of teams, managers and stakeholders across varying degrees of technical knowledge
  • Attending agile ceremonies and team meetings for planning and visibility
  • Creating and maintaining test scopes; managing them throughout their lifecycle
  • Development of in-house automation frameworks and tests
  • Critical analysis of existing automation frameworks and tests for improvements/gaps
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Utilise existing manual tests/exploratory testing to develop Automated Test Scopes
  • Identifying parameterisable patterns for generative data and data modelling
  • Providing code and scope reviews for both peers and wider team

AI Testing

  • Knowledge and interest in Large Language Model (LLM) and other AI systems
  • Experience with implementing a range of programming paradigms (OOP, functional, modular) and design patterns (factory, singleton, builder)
  • Experience with both UI Automation Testing and API Testing
  • Experience with Linux environments and basic shell
  • Familiarity with version control systems (GitLab or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong documentation skills (both design and code using TSDocs/JSDocs)
  • Able to hold multiple concepts, disciplines and ideas while decision-making (be able to assess the priority of a bug with regards to Business Requirements, Client Usage and Technical Accuracy)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Time Management Skills
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to report defects across a range of communication styles and document information concisely as it becomes available

Automation Testing

  • Creating and maintaining test scopes; managing them throughout their lifecycle

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing or SDET roles
  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Physics or IT related field
  • GCSE Maths grade C/4 (or equivalent) and GCSE English grade C/4 (or equivalent)
