You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to maintain the highest product standards, using both your technical expertise and your strong communication skills.\n\nAs a Quality Control Engineer you will:\n\n * Inspect electronic/mechanical parts, PCBs, wiring, and assemblies\n\n * Interpret drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and CAD documentation\n\n * Investigate non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (8D methodology)\n\n * Maintain and analyse quality data to support KPI reporting\n\n * Conduct internal and supplier audits in line with ISO9001 & ISO14001\n\n * Support process improvement initiatives across the business\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\n\n * Electronics qualification (HNC, BTEC 3, or A-Level; BTEC 2 considered for the right candidate)\n\n * 3+ years in a similar quality role\n\n * Strong knowledge of ISO9001 & ISO14001 (IATF16949 experience an advantage)\n\n * Experience with data collection, validation, and database management\n\n * Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills\n\n * Confident use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\n\nDesirable:\n\n * DMAIC, FMEA, REACH knowledge\n\n * Internal auditing experience\n\n * IMDS familiarity\n\nIf you’re a versatile, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for quality and a drive to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nApply now to be part of a forward-thinking team shaping the future of public transport technology
