Quality Engineer/ Inspector urgently required to work for a leading manufacturing organisation based in Woking . We are looking for an effective and well organised individual to work as a stand alone quality individual. We are looking for someone who holds a previous background of final inspection, fault finding and resolution. You will be required to Perform independent visual, dimensional, inspection of component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished product assemblies.
A key element of this role is the knowledge and experience of inspection of sub assembly and final products, understanding the dimensions and requirements on finished products. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and background of working within and engineering/ manufacturing environment.
Key Tasks:
Perform independent visual, dimensional, inspection of component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished product assemblies
knowledge of welding or what good welds look like
experience of machined components
Experienced in "walk rounds" pointing out and resolving quality issues within the manufacturing process and department
Use Gauges and other measuring equipment
Performing sample inspection
Knowledge and experience of NCR's and FAIRS
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing and maintaining records
