Overview

Quality Engineer – Onshore Land Substation Project. Long-Term Contract | Outside IR35 | Hybrid (London-based).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance for onshore land substation projects, with emphasis on early project stages and delivery of quality excellence from day one.
• Support and potentially manage site quality activities, including coordination with site teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Engage in quality assurance processes for high-voltage equipment associated with substations and transformers.

Qualifications

• Direct experience on onshore land substation projects.
• Background in civil engineering.
• Strong quality assurance expertise, particularly in the early stages of large-scale projects.
• Experience with high-voltage equipment (e.g., substations, transformers).
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Offshore project experience.
• Experience of managing site teams.

Location & Working Pattern

Home-based, with weekly travel to London offices. Ideally within commuting distance of London. Outside IR35.
