Quality Engineer Location: Burntwood Permanent We are currently recruiting for a client that specialises in the manufacture of complex injection mouldings for the automotive industry. This role is a permanent opportunity where you will be responsible for supporting with product quality related issues whilst maintaining customer satisfaction. You will be ensuring that correct standards are in place to assure the production processes are repeatable and stable through problem solving activities. Role Responsibilities – Quality Engineer Lead warranty & service problem solving Audit current mass production processes & new processes before SOP to detect non-conformities Support MTC in project development (Process FMEA, Control plan, Quality instructions, Checking fixture design, process capabilities, master sample definition). Identify abnormalities by self-audits to maintain process control, identify process weakness & necessities. Product Segregation (OK / NOK parts), support production in problem solving, confirm countermeasure action robustness. Manage internally diverted parts & stock checks.
