Quality Engineer

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom Salary: Up to £46,500 per annum DOE

Based in Leeds, their equipment division specialises in precision machining, repairs, and bespoke engineering services that enhance performance and extend equipment life.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and coordinate Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Plans aligned with internal, customer, and international standards. Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to define inspection and testing requirements for machining, welding, assembly, and coating processes. Review and verify vendor certifications for compliance. Support Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes, root cause analysis, and implement preventative actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards. Engage with suppliers through development programs to reduce non-conformances.
