We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Quality Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. This role involves working directly on the factory floor, carrying out daily quality inspections, engaging with production staff, and directly interfacing with customers. The position offers excellent prospects for development into a Quality Manager role for the right candidate.

The main duties of the position : Maintain and develop our ISO 9001:2015 quality system. Perform regular quality checks using a range of measuring equipment. Address day-to-day quality issues using structured problem-solving tools (8D methodology). Deliver clear guidance and training on quality procedures to production staff. Conduct hourly walkarounds of the factory to spot-check paperwork and parts. Produce and formalize monthly quality reports, including: Customer complaints Quality-related production downtime Cost of quality Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. Prepare and carry out full PPAP submissions for customers, including FMEAs and Gauge R&R studies.
